Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, the leading full-service orthopedic and spine group in the San Joaquin Valley, is seeking a Per-Diem Certified Athletic Trainer. This position will provide Athletic Trainer services to various Clovis Unified School District high schools, with direction from Sierra Pacific Orthopedics (SPOC).
The AT position carries out the functions of injury prevention, management and care of athletes at a 2000+ student high school in Clovis Unified School District. ATs have game duty responsibilities, inventory management and will have ROP and AT students that will rotate with them. Excellent communication and conflict management skills are as must as the ATs are a liaison between the athletes, parents, coaches and the director of Sports Medicine at SPOC. The school district also offers additional opportunities to work for district funded events that are paid separately by the school district.
Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer as well as a certification is preferred.
Compensation will be based on level of experience combined with education and/or certification.
Salary Range: $30-$42
